I like making sure people know there’s a place for them. If someone isn’t sure where to sit, how a game works, or what everyone is doing, I might scoot over, explain what’s happening, or invite them to join. I love helping the circle feel a little bigger. I’m learning something important too: welcoming someone doesn’t mean they have to say yes. Sometimes the kindest invitation leaves plenty of room for someone to choose.
