LET ME WATCH FIRST.
When something is new, I like to watch for a little while before I jump in. I listen, notice what people are doing, and figure out how things work. Then I can decide whether I'm ready to join. I like being with good friends, but I'm also perfectly happy spending some time by myself. I'm learning to trust myself when I really do want to join in—so I don't wait until the moment has passed.
